Watermakers

A watermaker is a device used for desalination of sea water through reverse osmosis technology (RO). Lenntech Sea Water Makers (SWM series) provide drinking and process water from salt water.

The small desalination units help to minimize the disadvantages of water scarcity by allowing decentralized water supply. Lenntech units are are ready-to-use, skid mounted and easy to operate. SWM production can vary from 150 to 1000 liters per hour.

The low energy consumption of the unit contributes to lower costs and fewer carbon emissions. An optional energy recovery device (ERD) allows to further reduce electricity consumption of the system. Watermakers can also be powered by renewable energy, such as solar photovoltaic or wind.
